The Girls’  Brigade

The Girls’ Brigade.   Since it's foundation in 1893, The Girls’ Brigade has become known world-wide as a fun, interesting, challenging and relevant provider of activities, skills, care and Christian love for hundreds of thousands of girls.

 

When is it?    -- Thursdays

 

 

   

 

 

 

 

                

 

Who is it for?

 

All girls aged between 5-18 years old.

 

At GB we enjoy a wide range of activities, from crafts and games to Bible stories and badge work. We also go on camp for a week in the summer time and take part in numerous extra activities outside of our meeting time.

 

Explorers (5-8's)     6.15pm -   7.30pm
Juniors (8-11's)      6.15pm-    7.45pm
Seniors (11-14's)    7.30pm -   9.30pm
Brigaders(14-18's)  7.30pm -   9.30pm

Youth Ministries Uniform Organisations

The Boys' Brigade is a Christian youth organisation committed to provide a safe and secure environment for all who attend. It was the first uniformed organisation for boys founded by William Alexander Smith in October 1883.

 

When is it?    - Fridays

 

               Anchor Boys - (5-8's)            5.45 -  7.15 pm.

                Junior Section -(8-11 's)         6.30 -  8.15 pm

                Company Section - (11-18's)   7.30 - 10.30pm.

 

Who is it for

 

                    All boys are welcome,

                     aged between 5-18 years old.

 

The weekly activities include games, crafts, badge work and a time learning about a Bible story. During the year we also hold various fun days, day trips, BB competitions, our Annual Awards Presentation night, a Junior Section weekend and a Senior Section camping week.
