For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-

We will also take up an offering, by passing round a plate, so that our regular members can contribute financially. Visitors are often reminded that this is for regulars in particular; most people give by a standing order arrangement.
Someone will read a passage from the Bible, (NIV) and our pastor will explain what the passage means and how it applies to us today. (There are church Bibles and the reader announces the page number so we can all follow the reading.)
Towards the end of the morning service we have communion to which every one is invited to stay and all Christians are invited to take part. After the morning service tea and coffee is served.
Once a month we have a family service at which our Sunday school, Boys & Girls brigades take part. On that Sunday communion is in the evening.
What about children?:
We welcome families with children of all ages.
In the morning we are all together for the first 20 minutes or so, usually with a brief item that is relevant to the whole church family.
Then we have a whole range of activities in different rooms for each age group, with lots of leaders. There are groups up to year 6 including a pre school crèche. The stewards will show you which room is for your children’s age. The list of children’s groups is here After the evening service there is meeting for young people aged 12+.
