Introduction

At the centre of all of our meetings is the desire to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the Young People of our area.  We believe that the Bible is God's book, and that it is just as relevant today as it was when it was written.

As the pages of the Bible unfold, the story of God's dealings with men, women and Young People is told. The Bible is not a book for "Softies" - it speaks plainly of the problems that we face, and the root cause of them - the fact that we have turned away from God and His ways. This is what the Bible calls "Sin".

"We are all just like sheep, and have gone astray - everyone has turned to his own way".

The result ? - we are kept away from God, and lost.

God doesn't leave us completely hopeless, however. We learn that He loves the world so much, that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to die in our place - to pay the price for our sin, and to remake the relationship that we were meant to have with God. This is God's free gift to all those who will trust Him.

We think - no, we know that there could never be any better news than this.

What we find difficult to understand is how anyone who is faced with God's offer of forgiveness could ever want to turn it down    Don't You ?

On a Sunday night we meet after the church service at someone's house or in our coffee bar. This is where we spend time in fellowship together singing, and have an informal Bible study.  We often meet in small groups to answer questions using the Bible to find out how we should overcome problems that Young People face today or learn about God's people.

Tuesday night is the night when we take a little time to be serious, (If only for part of the night).  If you come on a Tuesday, you can expect to find us singing, quizzing, and, most importantly of all, looking into what the Bible says about all sorts of things.

We've found that far from being an old fashioned book, it has a lot to say to Young People today, about the world in which we live, the problems that we face, and the God who is real and living..It speaks straight to Young People - warning them to "remember their creator while they are still young".

Saturday night is a time to relax and enjoy ourselves with friends. We do all the things you'd expect a Young People's Club to do - Football, Snooker, Table Tennis, Indoor Hockey, Listening to music etc..  On the odd occasion, we join up with friends from different churches across Liverpool, going to the baths or playing games.  Saturday is an ideal way to get to know us - if you're 12 years or older, why not come along?
